ICS Coordinator ist ein Tool zur Berechnung der individuellen und kumulativen Wirkung von Stationen auf Messstellen. Sie können einzelne Stationen definieren oder eine Textdatei mit mehreren Stationen laden. In jedem Fall berechnet das Tool das Störfeld an jeder Messstelle, die im zweiten Kanal ein auswählbares Ausbreitungsmodell und den Netzfilter NFD verwendet.

A UK station is defined by a location, antenna height, antenna pattern, antenna direction, antenna tilt and maximum ERP. The site height can also be defined or obtained from an internal DTM. The max ERP from a station is modified by the antenna pattern, direction and tilt towards the test point. The path loss is calculated using the selected propagation model, DTM and Clutter. This gives field strength at the test point for each transmitter.
If the station is within the test point's bandwidth, the station is taken into account. If there are other stations at the same site also within the test point bandwidth these stations field strengths are power summed together.

Once the total power summed field strengths have been calculated Simplified Multiplication Method (SMM) calculates the final field strength for all sites into the test points.
