HTZ Warfare
HTZ Warfare is ATDIs flagship military radio communication planning system, capable of modelling nearly all radio technologies operating between about 1.5 MHz and 100 GHz (HF capability is an optional add-in). These include: Military tactical VHF networks Military tactical UHF networks Military frequency hopping V/UHF networks Military trunked radio systems (such as Ptarmigan) V/U/SHF Point-to-point links (microwave radio communication networks & telemetry) V/UHF aeronautical radio & navigation systems (e.g. VOR, ILS) V/U/SHF radar systems (including surface to air & surface to surface) V/U/SHF Radio communications jammers (fixed, barrage and frequency hopping) V/U/SHF intercept receivers & direction finders Digital land mobile systems (e.g. GSM, TETRA, TETRAPOL, UMTS) Analogue land mobile systems (e.g. TACS, PMR, PAMR) Emergency beacons & radio systems (e.g. EPIRB) Digital and analogue paging systems (e.g. ERMES, FLEX 6400) TV & radio broadcast (analogue & digital) Satellite Earth stations Narrow- and broad-band point-to-multipoint systems Wireless LAN (e.g. IEEE 802.1) The system includes the ability to model fixed and mobile platforms (mobile one at a time) and to model dynamic scenarios via a simple script system, or via TCP/IP link to external asset management systems using the FBCB2 format of message. HTZ Warfare also features powerful database capabilities, and it is possible to directly link to the ICS Manager database. The software supports different operator modes, allowing a simple interface to be presented to beginners and low-level operators, and more advanced options to more experienced operators. The software can be configured for a specific application and provides a mechanism for ensuring the interface is simple to use. Another improvement is the introduction of an equipment list that allows equipment to be automatically configured by the system. HTZ Warfare includes sophisticated methods of interference and jamming analysis, including the ability to assess the impact of any technology on any other technology, so long as the transmit spectral characteristics and the receiver rejection envelopes are known. The transmission spectral response can include the effects of harmonics and other spurious parts of the transmission. HTZ Warfare provides mission planning support for a wide range of activities including: Setting up and managing tactical radio communications networks, including trunked radio communication systems.
