ATDI leitet Seminar zu Windkraftanlagen

Rundfunktechniker sind gut beraten, wenn sie die sich verändernde Landschaft im Vereinigten Königreich im Auge behalten, lautete das Credo eines Seminars in der vergangenen Woche.

Die steigende Zahl von Windfarmen und die damit verbundene höhere Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Radar-Flugüberwachung und andere Funkkommunikationsinfrastrukturen beeinflusst werden, bildeten das zentrale Thema der Konferenz, die von ATDI, dem Unternehmen für die Planung und Modellierung von Funkkommunikation, am Donnerstag, dem 10. Juli in London veranstaltet wurde.

 Britisches Verteidigungsministerium wählt ATDI-Konsortium für die Umstrukturierung seines Spektrums

ATDI ist an der radikalen Umstrukturierung der Funkspektrum-Ressourcen im Vereinigten Königreich beteiligt.

Das Verteidigungsministerim (Ministry of Defense, MOD) – neben dem Office of Communication (Ofcom) der landesweit größte Spektrumseigner – überprüft im Vorfeld einer Neubewertung des Spektrums seine Ressourcen. Ziel ist es, herauszufinden, wie das Spektrum zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung des Landes beitragen kann.
